How we review and how we earn

How we check what we publish, what we refuse to publish, and how ForxZen makes money.

Where our facts come from

We work from primary sources only: a regulator's public register, the broker's own legal documents, price lists and key information documents, and official publications from regulators such as the FCA, CySEC, ASIC and ESMA. Drafts are written with the help of AI tools and then checked line by line against those sources by an editor.

We do not trade with the brokers we cover. We do not open funded accounts, place trades or test withdrawals, and nothing on the site should be read as a report of first-hand trading.

How we check a licence

A regulator's name on a broker's website is not a licence. For every broker we look up the licence number on the regulator's own public register, note the exact company that holds it and the country it covers, and print on the review the register link and the date we checked it, so you can repeat the lookup yourself. A broker whose licence we cannot find on a register is not published.

Leverage, client-money protection and the products on offer belong to a specific company within a brand, not to the brand. When a brand runs several companies, we say which one each figure belongs to.

What every broker review records

Each review fills the same eleven fields in the same order, so two brokers can be read side by side: licences, minimum deposit, EUR/USD pricing with its basis, commission basis, retail leverage by company, platforms, account types, swap-free accounts, copy trading, payment methods, and which clients the broker accepts or excludes.

A spread is always recorded with its basis: a minimum ("from"), a typical or average figure, or a fixed one. Those are different claims, and we never present one as another.

A field we have not confirmed says "Not confirmed". It is never left blank, never dropped from a table, and never filled in from another company of the same brand because it seemed likely.

Risk warnings

Wherever a broker is promoted, the page carries the standard CFD risk warning. A percentage of retail accounts that lose money is shown only when the broker publishes its own figure, and then with the date it was published. We never estimate or round one.

How we earn

Some broker links may pay us a commission if you open an account. Those links go through our own redirect, are marked as sponsored, and sit next to a short disclosure. They are never shown to readers in the United Kingdom, where the promotion of forex and CFD products is restricted, nor in the Thai edition, nor to readers whose country we cannot determine.

Commission never changes what a review says. A broker cannot pay to be reviewed, to appear higher in a list, or to have a weakness removed. The full text is in our affiliate disclosure.

Updates and corrections

Each page shows the date it was last changed, and we never backdate. Costs, leverage limits and licence status are re-checked whenever a broker's documents change and at least every 120 days. If you find an error, tell us through the contact page; we correct it and note significant corrections on the page.
